Key Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Support the Finance manager with all financial aspects of the Company up to trial balance
  • Assist with accounts receivable and payable functions in accordance with company financial policies
  • Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs in line with company policies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with month-end close tasks, including journals, accruals/prepayments and reporting.
  • Support the Finance Team with VAT returns and other statutory requirements as needed.
  • General administrative duties as and when required
  • Manage and maintain employees expenses and credit cards
  • Manage company fleet for leased cars. 

 

Key Skills and Competencies

 

  • Part- qualified or Accounts technician 
  • High level of accuracy and data entry skills
  • Excellent communications skills 
  • Ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail/accuracy in all aspects of the position.
  • 1-3 years experience in an accounting support role 
  • Experience with accounting software 
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
